Thank you for taking time to visit our site and read about what it is we hope to accomplish in efforts to raise money for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
We hope to gain the support of as many people as possible before our departure!
What are we doing?
On March 14th, 2009 (I apologize for changing the date from April 1st, 2010, college finals and graduation dictated this one!), we will be departing Seattle, WA, and continuing to Santa Cruz, CA, via bicycle with a time of completion around 14 days. The total journey is over 950 miles and we plan to complete an average of 75 miles a day.
We will be camping along the coast at some of the most beautiful parks and carrying all equipment needed for the trip, on our backs and bicycles.
All money raised will be donated to the general fund at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and gear donated from our gear list will be for the purpose of completing this trip safely and efficiently.
